As a contributor who has sometimes asked Martin to take down some of my stories (and, occasionally, to restore them), I am in total agreement with his position here. He can’t possibly know the reason(s) why an author has made that choice and should not be in a position to overrule the author’s wishes.

It’s a gay erotic hypnosis story site with authors who aren’t charging for you to read their work. They have no obligation to keep their work available to you. You did not pay them for their effort so you are not owed carte blanche access to that work. There are plenty of amazing works available, access those (for free) and please stop screaming at a group of people who merely don’t agree with your right to access the work authors have trusted Martin to completely remove.
At the end of the day, this is a strange thing to die on your hill for. If anything, you’re frustrating the authors who still write here. Please pull back, get some perspective, and show some respect for Martin (who gives an insane amount of his time keeping this place running) and the authors who give and have given you free access to their hard work.
