Just as I hate generalized bashing of gays or liberals, I also hate generalized bashing of conservatives. To say that conservatives are bad people in general is simply wrong as well as extremely subjective.
Don’t fall into the same behaviour of the people you dispise. And, if you can’t manage to keep this discussion civil, I will stop this.

Did you not read the last sentence, my dude? “I think they should be free to engage in them.” Aka free to get married. He’s against it because of his religion, but doesn’t think the government should be able to stop them from getting married. You also responded multiple times in a row to a single post again, and I really don’t understand why you do that. It comes across sort of badly.
One way or another, though, I respect your right to your opinions, as much as I disagree. I just hope that at some point you realize that your stereotypes are untrue, and that you’re being unreasonable. Eventually you’ll realize that the world isn’t so black and white, and that good people can have different opinions than you. If you’re not willing to accept that now, hopefully you’ll accept that when you’re older. I know I certainly had a time in my life where I thought everyone right of socialist was a monster. I’ve since learned better. I hope the same happens for you too.

I read the story in question. I might be naïve, but what I got from it was a gay man who thought his room mate was straight and found out that he was in fact in the closet and they had sex, yes it had two sides one being a democrat and the other being a republican. it was only at the end that through the sex they had the democrat changed his mind and was going to vote for the other side. I read stories on this said daily, so I like others and not to my taste, if I don’t like what I am reading I just click away. This site is about Fantasy guys can read a story or not read a story. that’s the plain truth. Maybe in future if the content is classed as risky it should say so at the top.
I would also like to add that not every one who comes to this site are American. The world is bigger than the USA

@MalSkin that’s honestly not the best argument though since a good amount of people who were fighting in those comments didn’t like the story but read it anyway. I mean if the stories by Genos and Pikemence didn’t exist literally none of this conversation would have happened. And a deep discussion on censorship is not really suited for a gay mind control fetish site. That’s not to say this discussion hasn’t at least remained mostly civil and some good points have been made but like you said, this is a fantasy site about gay mind control fetishes. Making a story about real world politics with fetish stuff shoehorned in isn’t fitting the spirit of this site.I shouldn’t have to have the same conversations that i have with people irl on a site i go to to jack off. Also yes the world is bigger than the USA, this rule didn’t say “no US politics” it said no politically charged stories, that applies to whatever is going on anywhere. Tagging it risky also just seems like calling attention to the issue to like “hey i’m probably controversial you should read me to so you can understand the argument that will appear about me”
This ban isn’t censoring politics, it’s banning troll bait stories (and not the fun kind involving fantasy creatures jacking off under bridges) I said it under one of the anon comments earlier but if this was a blanket politic ban that would be one thing. But here martin has banned stories that are just meant to annoy which is fine. If don’t feed the trolls is the rule then martin is cutting off their supply at the source.
