So this is not a bug but more of a tiny irk of mine I had to share
I use GaySpiralStories site mainly because I am 90% interested in MC. I also don’t keep logged in because of reasons. Thus I enter to GSS and log in every time I want to find a nice story.
And all’s fine there.
Problem comes when I receive a notification from the forum.
If I click the icon with the green sign, I am redirected to GayKinkyStories to log in again.
And once I’ve done that, I have to click the forum icon again.
And once I’m in the forum, I have to click on the log in button again.
And then I can finally check the notification
So what could be just 1 log-in and 1 click becomes 2 log-ins and several clicks.
I can live with it, and actually I’d say I’ve been doing it since GKS was created. But recently I’ve received more notifications and it’s gotten especially tedious.
If you happen to have some spare time, may I ask you to please look into it? Like I said, it’s not a bug, it’s also not urgent, but something I thought I had to share anyways.
First, there is little reason to use GSS instead of GKS unless you prefer seeing the hypnotized rubber guy over the wanking cutie on the bed. The stories are the same and you can use the same filters on both sites.
The forum login is always redirecting to GayKinky no matter from which site you’re coming, is a bit wacky, I agree.
Anyone who’s logged on to Kinky anyway, won’t even notice that. But as you lose your log-on, it will matter to you.
Do you have any tool installed that clears all cookies on every visit? Maybe some specific ‘privacy enhancement’ tools? They’re only usually causing headaches and don’t really have any positive effect on your privacy anyway, they’re not much more than snake-oil but with the additional effect of causing a lot of bother.
Ah! I see. Cookies, yeah. They get automatically deleted after I close the browser. One less thing to worry, many places to hit “reject cookies” constantly So I don’t know if it’s worth.
OK! If GKS and GSS are the same, I’ll connect from GKS
Clearing all cookies will have the effect that you’ll always lose any logon on all sites on the net. And the settings you change for many of the sites on the net.
Disabling cookies is just a nuisance - for the user. It doesn’t make it impossible to track you. So the only one who’s suffering is you, not the “bad” people
