Hidden chapters question

Sorry, I’m a bit out of the loop.

I’m writing a story that has an optional middle section.
I’m a bit out of date with the GKS system so I want some advice.

Can I publish a “hidden” story on GKS?
by “hidden” I mean it doesn’t show up on the main page when it’s published

My plan would be something like

Optional middle chapter; click here: [link to hidden chapter]

at the bottom of the optional middle chapter
Now back to main story, click here: [link back to bookmarked section of main story.]

Or,
might the only way to do this, be split the story into an interactive with three sections, and section one links to both the
optional middle section and/or directly to the continuation of rest of the main story?

Officially, there’s no way to do that.

But there’s the option of a folded (hidden) section within a story (like the spoiler tag on Discord), that the user has to click to reveal.

And the option you’ve described yourself would work, too.
