You know how on the reaction emojis when you hover over it you can see the username who reacted I think it would be interesting to say the least, if the ratings system showed who was rating what publicly?
Hm. Actually it was an intentional decision not to show who’s rating how. That could cause a lot of friction among the users. So, no, I don’t want to reveal that to everyone. Even I don’t know how rates my own stories.
If you feel people are downrating your stories (which has happened in the past), we can check if there’s a pattern, if someone is targeting your stories specifically. We have some tools to determine if someone is methodically trying to up- or to downvote stories by a certain author deliberately.
no worries, just thought it was interesting as the greyed out 0.50 or 1 ratings often popped up when i got involved in various debates in the forum that all . it doesn’t matter .
I can look them up. Which story is this happening on? We have a couple of malicious raters which are rating all over, which is why I have these protection mechanisms in place.
honestly, wouldn’t worry , i’ve tuned off ratings now , i just look at likes instead ![]()
That’s quite unfortunate. To disable comments AND ratings ![]()
I had bookmarked your story and I’m going to read it later. And I was definitely planning on rating, possibly commenting, too.
Thanks @Corin
I will probably put it on the back burner for now while I refresh my old AI-assisted ones. Not sure what to do about the comments/ratings as the stories tend to be pretty niche anyway.
