The system tries to detect if a user has actually read the whole story, i.e. he spend some time on it (depending on its length) and scrolled all the way down to its end. Then it’s counted as a “read”, that’s the number before the slash. The second number ist the number of “hits”, i.e. how often the story has been clicked on.

The left of the two blue bars shows this for all users, no matter if logged on or not. That also means that reads and hits can be counted more than once, if a person opens/reads the same story twice.

The right bar shows this for logged on users, and here each reader is counted once, no matter how often he opens or reads the story.

I told you, I’m blonde and old…?

[Deleted stupid question by myself]

Nah, I know all this stuff on the site can be difficult and hard to understand. It’s difficult to find the right balance between too much text and info and the right amount of feedback…

There are no stupid questions!

And blond guys are hot
