Discussion for the plot, characters, and setting of Knightly Duties and Hunt. Kill. Breed

Does anyone remember what happened with House Aigles of Eagleshrine? Along with a graveyard dialogue between Cleo and Theo?

I think PCM said most of them were killed by the west, law of blood and such, and eaglreshirne was annexed

@JSN3 @Anon8

what do you think of this?

Nah. I meant for the massacre.

It’s alright, I think.

I wouldn’t know, but I bet it was very bloody

yeah, I’m considering adding it to give some info about Gerald’d bio dad, and also a bit of gloom before the end, where Albert manages to make Gregory’s mind go back to normal, and the tides change

I’ve been thinking a bit about Leon’s change at the hospital and considering he’d likely be in a bad state would it actually make sense then having sex in the medical bay would be feasible? Any intense activity could open wounds or the like.

Additionally I can’t imagine jerking off in the middle of a medic bay full of the injured or dying would be…well proper. Even for a beastfolk.

I could see a very screwed up situation of beastfolk laying with each other after killing their enemies though.

….henrich in the southern saga is probabaly going to want to puke realizing he was busy having it up with his fellow lords in the main timeline while he destroyed geralds entire life and family over a lie. Though it does seem at the least they didn’t take their ire out on any of the folk of eagleshrine- they likely made up the folk of Eastern descent we see in gils time.

For ney changing Leon I could see him almost gently feeding him seminal fluid to kickstwrt changes and then gently taking him privately. Almost being like a nurse to him for a but.

Additionally the fallout foe this as discussed likely could also lead to a congregation of Eastern clerics and religious leaders trying to figure out the minutae of beastfolk human coexistence or unions. The dawn may aproove of Leon’s change but he would likely need to legislate regulation which would then to be interpreted by the religious clergy.

This then would also run Leon and the others that they’d need to hope the tradionalist factions- who likely idolize the time of richard the second as a tume of religious purity despite the corrupt narure of the courts- don’t win out.

Hi Anon, did you remember the dialogue you made for it, along with the lore?

Leon was turned in the battlefield, not in the infermary tent, I should had made it clear, as wouldn’t make to the camp

@Anon8

Here is what I have of the chapter so far

along with those corrections for the talk between Leon’s family anf Henrich and Nolan, showing a bit on how Leon is affected by westren mentality

the corrections

Unfortunately it has been a bit, so no.

I’ve also been thinking about the south. Considering the danger salt harvesters and navigators may face- its possible that while it’s a respected profession, they may exile people to regions with those professions as a last resort if they need to deal with malactors in their communities. This something like how Australia was originally a penal colony. Not everyone may be a prisoner or criminal, but many may have descent from such, and some may he migrants and some exiles.

Anybody who’s done something too severe is likely executed. They can’t afford them running off and turning into an abyssal one.

I see…makes sense.

But in that case would Leon have enough strength to handle physical sex? Or would it make more sense to feed some of his blood or fluids, stabilize him and then finish things off?

The process to make new breeds of beastmen is to drink beastmen blood, so the blood of the PB is in them, and then have sex to straighten the blood connection, Ney started gentle, and only roughned on Leon once he was changed, weakening the poison, and when Leon asked for Ney to fuck him harder

I see.

I could see a situation where Leon drinks neys blood and has to rest as his body adjusts and then proceeds further.

Unless the blood route is fast acting of course. Which it does seem to be.

Another I’ve been thinking about is the imperial fertility crisis. @Pcm1 mentioned that the imperials screen for genetic optimization- so perhaps it might not be that their conditioning is reducing their want for women. Even then they’d still do their job.

It might be that as they increasingly get exposed to arboreal energies their generics are changing to such an extent its becoming difficult to produce offspring with their women as imperial women typically aren’t directly changed by arboreal abilities- merely conditioned. Well…depending on how the re education process works. @Pcm1 did mention some pretty warped individuals are involved in that process and it seems to involve sexual activity possibly.

But the difference in arboreal exposure may have a cascading effect in genetics over time. So the very thing propping the empire is also ironically sort of killing it.

The way I’d analogize this is between a horse, donkey and mule.

A horse and donkey can mate with each other and make a mule. But a mule while strong is sterile. While imperials don’t die easy, as the imperial men possibly become more arboreal rsque genetically compared to the women, reproduction may become harder. At first it may lead to a situation like the mule but over time they may just be unable to reproduce.

While the biomages likely are researching this problem the solution woild likely be to curb or re direct the limits of arboreal transformations- or giving such to the women too as much as a man. Something I suspect the empire isn’t too keen on doing.

Like I said, Leon was tunrd so the poison would no longer be a lethal dose, which was reasonable as loosing him would be a hit on the alliance

and your analogy regarding the empire is spot on

@Anon8 @JSN3

I was thinking, in Gearld Lives/Join the west timeline, Gerald uses the title Lord of the eagles, like Nolan in this timeline and Henrich in canon have King of the wolves, Beacues enve tough he is ā€œJustā€ a baron, he still is the adopted sone of the king of the wolves, Nolan, but in Drakefalls, where his Fey taint is more aparent, he will use the title Tigern of the eagles, Tigern is an olde irsh titelt equivalent of Lord, but that shhows him being more fey then in the other timelines, Ladon would be the Lord of the Dragons, and the Northren Lords in all timelines would be Jarl of *insert beast here
*
No idea how to handle the eastren bestmen in Join the west and Drakefalls yet Besides Ricahrd the II and III in drakefalls as Ibex king, and Myabe Frederick as Lord of the Crorodiles in Join the west as he is a noble, the same with Count Reynard being the Lord of the foxes in all three tiemlines

I feel a celtic/fae title would be one of many titles nolan may use. It may be one he uses when speaking with the northerners- possibly one he earns there

As for titles for the eastern beasts, seeing as the east follows what appears to be a Norman context, any of the titles nobility used in France or England would probabaly work. Moreso England.

The fey title is for Gerald in Drakefalls, but I can see beastmen earning honorary titles in other beastmen territories

Likely yes though they’d follow the local custom of ghe area.
