Impacting the real world towards our fantasies

So about three years ago, I found a clip about royals being frozen at a ball and asked here if anyone knew from what movie it was. (Hypnosis & Mind Control videos - #335 by Mafisto) I wanted to do a story about that scene for a while. I watched the series of movies, enjoyed the possibilities. Only recently did a complex story integrating all the elements I wanted come to mind.

Doing research, I found that the actor doing Ben vanished from social media since January. Then I found he was doing Cameos. I had recommended the movies to my sister for the kids she was babysitting one week. So I ordered a cameo from the actor for those kids. I asked him a series of questions, interesting for the kids, but some of them insidiously interesting for me and my story.

There is a certain thrill to being able to make someone, on the other side of the planet (he’s in Australia), say the words you want or reveal things to you. And so I got him to talk about being frozen, and mention “being mind-controlled”, or feelings as he turned into a beast, or how intimidated he was by Hades. Then a ping on my phone. He had sent me the video. From his home to mine.

The theme of affecting someone’s actions from a distance, hidden within some normal-looking message, can be interesting.

This video and the things he says in it only exist because I made it happen. This is as close to mind control as we can get in our real world.

That sounds amazing! So this clip is from Descendants? I haven’t seen it and I don’t remember that clip.

So this Ben makes his living with cameos? Or is it just a hobby of his?

Making people do what you order them to do is what power is all about. The mechanics of domination and submission - for whatever reason - is a huge part of human psychology, obviously.

I’ve googled the actor, he’s really amazingly cute, at least he was 10 years ago :slight_smile:

Now I want to watch that short series about INXS where he played his first role. I have no idea how to get hold on it. I didn’t even know that such a series existed. I liked INXS back in their time, and I have most of their albums.

He does the occasional cameo, I think it’s just because it makes children happy and he is good with children. Not enough to make a decent living.

Prime Video with VPN from Australia is your best bet I think. But I’m not sure it’s even there anymore. I saw the DVD for $225.

Thanks for the video and the info. It seems to be available, but as you say, gei locked to Australia. I hate geo locking!

I dream of a time when contents are licensed globally and not just for a country. We’ll get the, I’m sure, but probably not in my lifetime… - before Putin or some other nutjob destroys the world.
