I’m sure many of us are aware of the Russian occupation in the Ukraine. Someone is using that situation and spammed many of my stories claiming needing relocation and adding a link that seems suspicious.
Be wary of suspicious links if you do want to support refugees. Instead, use links and organizations that are trusted and vetted.
Yeah, I received a couple of the same repeat comments in my stories too, so obviously spam. Agreed, always use common sense and good deal of caution with online solicitations and donations. Always go straight to the organizations where you want to contribute, I’d never trust unsolicited ads and links asking for money for any reason.
