The details are really fuzzy on this one, but I’m looking for a story about a college student who gets reprogrammed by his roommate.
The protagonist becomes aware that his roommate is able to control his body and he tries to fight the control, only for his roommate to reveal that he isn’t actually aware of what’s going on. He’s been programmed to follow the same routine for weeks, where he suddenly becomes aware and then forgets everything that happened. I believe the roommate tricks him into using some tapes in his sleep to help him study.
It’s similar to “Good Boy” by DaddyJim, but in a college setting and without the pup aspects.
